This survey is for a new, nonfiction book called The Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant. It's a very different topic from my previous books, but something I know a lot about after having two children after age 35 and reading way too many medical journal articles about fertility. I also never found a book about natural conception that was fun to read, and that’s my goal for Impatient Woman.

I'm looking for detailed responses that are candid, emotional, and sometimes funny. The questions might sound somewhat dry, but I expect many responses will be far from it. (For example, my own answer to "How did you feel when you got your period?" would be along the lines of "Like I got kicked in the chest." But maybe some of you are calmer than me!)

You do NOT need to answer all of the questions – just answer those that are most relevant to your experience and about which you want to share your story, your feelings, and/or your humor. Answer them as if you were talking to a friend.

In a few places I've used the abbreviation TTC, which means trying to conceive or trying to get pregnant.

Thanks so much!
